Some Reminders before Signing Up: 
  • Have GroupMe downloaded & be sure you are in our Schoology for updates. 
  • You must have PAID your fees & turned in the PARENT PERMISSION FORM to participate.
  • You can only SIGN YOURSELF up and NOT OTHERS.
  • Members who are suddenly unable to show up for an event they have previously signed up for MUST give their heads-up a day before the event. This is to help account for everyone & make sure there are no last-minute accidents. 

Basic Rules of Community Service 
  • Be on time or you will not receive the credit for community service hours. 
  • If you sign up and do not show up you will not be able to sign up again. 
  • If you sign up and you are more than 30 MINUTES late, you will not be able to sign up again.
  • If you sign up and leave early or do not work while you are there, you will not be able to sign up again.
  • To receive your hours, you must sign out by filling out the Google Form provided at the end of the event.​
  • You must be working and helping out with whatever is asked of you. 
  • Remember that everyone attending these events is representing Klein HOSA! Stay focused on volunteering & avoid straying from expectations
  • Misconduct at these events is unacceptable & will lead to varying consequences for those involved.

Basic Volunteering Information

A Sign-Up link will be posted on Schoology
​by 6:50 AM on Monday prior to the event!
  • Most of the community service opportunities are in the fall so start early if you want to letter!
  • Each event has limited amount of people for volunteering
  • You must be a paid HOSA member to sign up
  • You can only sign-up for YOURSELF!​
  • If you are signed up and you do not show up or are more than 30 minutes late for an event, you will not be allowed to sign up for the next one
  • Make sure you always work hard and are actively participating! If the coordinators are not satisfied with your work you might not receive credit for those hours.
  • HAVE FUN but be RESPONSIBLE! You are representing all of Klein HOSA! ​
