SNEHA SHENOY
Hello HOSAKATS! My name is Sneha Shenoy and I am running to be your 2020-2021 Klein HOSA President. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of witnessing the ins and outs of HOSA. As an intern my freshman year, I experienced the benefits of having upperclassmen role models. As parliamentarian my sophomore year, I started to realize how studying for competition would help me for the rest of my life. As Vice President my junior year, I developed an understanding for the power of service on the community.

I strongly believe HOSA is one of the best organizations a high school student can join. In our chapter at Klein, students become prepared for careers in and out of the healthcare industry, learn the importance of giving back to the community and take part in an unforgettable high school experience. I hope as President next year, I can help every member experience what I have over the past few years in Klein HOSA, a.k.a. the best club in the world. I thank all of you HOSAKATS for allowing me to serve you for the past three years, and it would be an absolute honor to serve you one more time.

JEANIE HO
Hey HOSAKATS! My name is Jeanie Ho and I am running to be one of your Co-Vice Presidents this upcoming school year with Christy Vu. As a previous HOSA officer, I have grown to love spending my weekends giving back to the community and being able to help others. Service itself has become a huge part of my life. As your Vice President, I would like to share many more amazing volunteer opportunities next year and continue to devote my time to making Klein HOSA the best it can be. I aspire that through our volunteering events, you will be able to create cherishable memories as well as develop a passion for helping those in need. In addition, I intend to work hard in order to create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone, so that HOSA can become a second home for you all. CHRISTY VU
Hey HOSAKATS! My name is Christy Vu and I had the privilege of being your reporter this year. I would love to give back to the community and dedicate myself even more to this organization as one of your future Vice Presidents. Community service has always been something I’ve been passionate about. It allows us to create change, build empathy, and have an impact on others. I believe that every hosakat should have the opportunity to see the joys of giving back as well as make amazing memories. If elected as Co-Vice President, I am adamant that I will keep HOSA members happy and provide you guys with an extraordinary volunteering experience. Additionally, I am a proactive worker and very organized, and I believe these qualities would help me succeed in this position. NANI TANG
Hello! My name is Nani Tang, and I will be running for your 2020-2021 HOSA Secretary. I have always found immense joy in HOSA through the memories I’ve made with my peers in competition, volunteering, and socials. I want to give next years’ members the same amazing experiences that I have been able to enjoy through HOSA. Throughout this year, I’ve had the honor of working alongside the officers and seeing what goes on “behind the scenes” as Intern Coordinator. I am dedicated and passionate about HOSA, and I want to make it a fulfilling year! In terms of skill, I have prior knowledge working with spreadsheets, and I can manage my time efficiently. Hello fellow HOSA kats! My name is Kristofer Garcia. This year, I am running for your 2020-2021 Klein HOSA Treasurer! I ask for you to vote for me as Treasurer, not because I simply want to be an officer, but because I wish to bring real change as well as introduce my excellent leadership, organizational skills, and selfless service into the club that I love. For this position, one that I believe I am very qualified in with regard to my past experience as a devoted Klein HOSA member throughout my high school career and a year served as Fundraising Director of ‘Paws For Purpose’, I will make sure to secure the appropriate funding, resources, and planning necessary to assure that every HOSA party, competition event, and fundraiser will be the best during your time as a member of Klein HOSA. I served as the VP intern for this past year and was able to learn the true meaning of HOSA. Every member plays a big part in the memories of HOSA and I hope to be a part of your treasured memory. I can’t wait to lead Klein HOSA as your TREASURER officer. As treasurer, I will carefully review the funds and budget for every event that we have, and ensure that we have enough expenses to amplify your experience. Hey HosaKats! My name is Anna Nguyen and I will be running for a position as your reporter officer. I would like to become a HOSA officer because HOSA is a great club and I look forward to working with the members and getting involved with the activities for the 2020-2021 school year. I was the reporter intern for the 2019-2020 school year, so I have experience in managing our wonderful hosa website and making the monthly powerpoints and newsletters. In addition to that, I promise to work hard in an effort to make sure that the information provided will be clear and precise. I hope to receive your votes! Sergeant at Arms

EMILY TRAN
Hi HOSAKATS! My name is Emily Tran and I am running to be your 2020-2021 HOSA Sergeant at Arms! It has been a pleasure to serve as your Sergeant at Arms this past year and I would be honored if you were to choose me for this position once again. Through my position as an officer, I have become very familiar with the various tasks of the Sergeant at Arms and how to carry out each task efficiently. I will also do my best to ensure every member receives all of the points that they will accumulate throughout the year. Being in HOSA for the past three years has shown me all the amazing opportunities this club offers and all the hard work the officers have put into making HOSA as great as possible. If elected, I will put in all the time and effort needed in order to do the same. From volunteering with HOSA to advancing to Internationals, I have made so many unforgettable memories, and I hope to make your 20'-21' school year just as memorable.

LUIS FLORES
Hi Klein HOSA! My name is Luis Flores, and I am running to be your Sergeant at Arms for the 2020-2021 academic school year. Becoming a HOSAKAT has been one of my best life decisions by far. After getting to know everyone from volunteering and competing I know that Klein HOSA is something I want to be a part of. Furthermore, HOSA is special to me because of the knowledge I’ve gained, and it's a place where friendships and memories are built. In regard to skill, this year I have created a school club, was elected to be part of the Klein Family Serves Student Committee, was accepted into the MD Anderson Teen Leadership program, competed & volunteered with HOSA, and competed with the Klein Debate Team. As you can see I have experience with positions that require the skills needed to fulfill the Sergeant at Arms position and more. I am proficient when it comes to communication, organization, leadership, creativity, showing empathy, and technology. These skills would ensure not only to maintain Klein HOSA but to help improve it. In conclusion, If I am elected for the Sergeant at Arms position I believe I would be an asset and would dedicate all of my time and effort to Klein HOSA. ALYNA JIVRAJ
Hey Hosakats, my name is Alyna Jivraj and I will be an incoming Junior for the 2020-2021 school year! I am running to be your Sergeant at Arms and will be assisting and recording all the points you receive via community service, general meetings, wearing your HOSA t-shirt, etc.. By doing so, you will be able to use this as a reference whenever you are writing your resume, filling out college applications, and for many other future uses. I would love to be a HOSA officer for this upcoming school year because over the past 2 years, HOSA has opened my eyes as to what the medical profession entails. HARRISON BOYD
My name is Harrison Boyd, and I am running for the Competition Officer position with Juslyn Dhingra. The role of a competition officer entails me helping in any competition matters, whether that be finding an event that best suits you or just providing the support you deserve. I’ll make sure to bring my personal touch to HOSA competition, helping you prepare, study, and win at competition. Competing with Klein HOSA has been an unparalleled adventure, one that I would love all members to experience. This year, I served as a competition intern and I’ve also competed in HOSA for two years! The training and knowledge of HOSA competition I’ve acquired throughout high school has ensured that I am capable of being your officer. JUSLYN DHINGRA
Hey HOSAKATS! My name is Juslyn Dhingra and I am running for the position of a competition officer, along with Harrison Boyd. As your co-competition officer, it is my duty to manage all things related to competition, including helping you when choosing a competitive event, distributing supplies and study materials, registering you for competition, and most importantly, being here to support you every step of the way. In the two years that I’ve been a member of Klein HOSA, I have gotten the opportunity to meet new people and embrace my competitive nature while giving back to our community the entire time. I want to be your HOSA competition officer because it offers me a chance to give back to the organization that has given me so much. My experience as a member, a competitor, and an intern these past two years have well prepared me for taking on the role as a co-competition officer. What’s up HOSAKATS! My name is Grace Pham, and I'm running to be your ‘20-’21 Historian! During my time as a member and intern these past two years, I have made so many amazing friends and joyful memories, and this organization has become my happy place. As Historian, I am responsible for photographing members at events and parties and creating memory walls to exhibit these photos. I would love nothing more than to capture all of these happy moments in HOSA and display them for all to see!

Membership

AMY LE
I am running for the membership position for the 2020-2021 school year. I am running for this position because I want to ensure that every member receives their shirt in order to feel included and a part of HOSA. These shirts are more than just fancy comfort colors, they are a symbol of unity between the members, interns, officers, and advisors. Whether at school, at community service events, or at our awesome socials, these shirts show the pride of our organization. As your membership officer, I will not only make it my priority that everyone receives their shirt, but I will also dedicate time towards creating slides that appear on the tv's around school. I would love to be a HOSA officer because I want to be more involved in an organization that has given me so much; from the countless new friends I have met, to the unforgetting memories I have made, and of course the leadership skills I have learned, there is no better way to give back to HOSA than being part of the leadership team. HOSA has inspired me to get out of my comfort zone in order to reach my full potential, and has given me countless opportunities to serve the community. I am excited to run for the membership position for HOSA and whether I am elected or not, I am thrilled to be part of one the best student organizations at Klein.

ANUSHA SOLAI
Hello everyone! I’m Anusha Solai and I’m running for HOSA Membership officer for the 2020-2021 school year. As your membership officer, I’ll organize the calendar, handle the shirts, make slides/PowerPoints for all the meetings, and ensure that every HOSA member has an amazing experience. My first year of HOSA opened me up to many experiences that I wouldn’t have gotten if I hadn’t joined. The main reason I want to be an officer is because I love the HOSA community and want to give everyone the cool experiences that the previous HOSA officers have given me. I can also utilize the necessary skills for my position like communicating effectively, working together as a team, having technological design skills for PowerPoints and slides and organizing tasks. Besides that, my personality is evident in my work. I’m creative and artistic, I’m outgoing and involve people, and I think outside the box. ZABRINA SIDHU
Hey HOSAKATS! My name is Zabrina Sidhu and I’ve had the amazing
experience of being an intern this year. I’ve gotten the chance to help at
awesome HOSA parties and volunteer on numerous weekends. After seeing
a glimpse of the hard work our officers devote to this organization, I am
ecstatic to have the opportunity to be running for the position of social
officer. I would love to be an officer because I want to make HOSA the best
experience it can possibly be for all the members and help it run smoothly.
Voting for me means you would be choosing someone who will prioritize
HOSA by planning social events for our members to enjoy. I hope to be
someone that everyone is comfortable talking to and I will always strive to

HAILIE JOHNSON
Hey everyone! I’m Hailie Johnson, and I’m running to become your Klein HOSA
parliamentarian. As your parliamentarian, my responsibilities would be maintaining the HOSA Schoology page, maintaining the HOSA lab and office, assisting other HOSA officers with their duties, and keeping in contact with the members of HOSA. I want to be a HOSA officer because I’m passionate about the health science field, and I’m also passionate about your success in this club, in school, and in general life. I’d be a great fit for the parliamentarian position because I’m very organized, I manage my time well, and I want to work for the best interests of everybody, not just myself. Hopefully you all will be able to see me as someone you can talk to and trust with any joys or concerns about what’s going on in your life, and hopefully you can see me as someone who cares about how you feel.
