LETTERING REQUIREMENTS 

There are two (2) options to receiving a letterman!

Option 1: Community Service

For TWO
​Consecutive Years...​​​
  • Be a PAID member of Klein HOSA
  • 20 HOURS of Community Service
  • Attend 5 out of the 7 meetings beginning in OCTOBER
  • Attend 2 Guest Speaker Events (Each Year)
  • Wear your t-shirt ONCE a month beginning in OCTOBER​

Option 2: Competition

Participate in HOSA State Competition for ONE year & for TWO 
Consecutive Years...
  • Be a PAID member in Klein HOSA​
  • 10 HOURS of Community Service
  • Attend 5 out of the 7 meetings beginning in OCTOBER
  • Attend 2 Guest Speaker Events (Each Year)
  • Wear your t-shirt ONCE a month beginning in OCTOBER

CORD REQUIREMENTS

You will need to only do one of these requirements in order to get a cord.
1. Advance to ILC (International Leadership Conference)
2. Community Service 100+ hours (double braided)
3. Community Service 60+ hours (single stranded)
**Cords will be in HOSA Colors (Red, Navy Blue, & White)!**

KEEP IN MIND

  •  All 20 or 10 hours of community service must be completed in EACH year. Hours WILL NOT transfer or roll over.
  • ALL POINTS TOWARD LETTERING START IN OCTOBER
  • All community service must be obtained through HOSA sponsored events. NO OUTSIDE HOURS. ​
  • T-Shirt MUST BE RECORDED the week it is worn to count.
